Couples Therapy

When partners start to struggle in the relationship there is always underlining issues going on that haven’t been addressed. This is how the blaming starts and the divide gets bigger and bigger.

How I will work with you as a couple and help you find the divide is look at how you’re both attached and what attachment style you have. This helps you to understand how you’re reacting to different events
If you’re feeling unseen, unheard, unloved or feel you’re being taken for granted etc, it can often be a case of miss communication, when this happens each partner feels less towards each other because the connection has dwindled and the gap is getting bigger.

Coming for couples therapy will help you both to recognise this and work towards reuniting as the team you were when you started outSometimes of course there isn’t a connection anymore and the only thing to do is part and my aim in those circumstances is to help you both separate kindly being mindful of not loosing respect for each other and therefore remaining friends.

All relationships can remain amicable if both parties are wanting this and it’s about finding when you use to agree on most things and working up from then.

I find couple counselling intriguing and amazing as you will both learn to truly understand yourself and your own needs as well as your partners.
